One of the pileated woodpeckers keeps landing on the powerline outside my window.   Seems kind of frantic.  I’m going to venture out right now and see if there is something there that I need to see…like maybe one of the babies in distress!  So, I walked out and there is a dove on top of the bird feeder, and the woodpecker hanging on to one side of the feeder on a perch and on the other side, a blue jay.  As I approached, the dove and the blue jay flew off and the woodpecker grabbed some feed and then he flew away.  Seems he just needed me to scare the other two off!  I truly need to get a video camera out there!  The Music Authority Podcast...listen, like, comment, download, share, repeat…heard daily on Podchaser, Deezer, Amazon Music, Audible, Listen Notes, Mixcloud, Player FM, Tune In, Podcast Addict, Cast Box, Radio Public, and Pocket Cast, and APPLE iTunes!  Follow the show on TWITTER JimPrell@TMusicAuthority!  Please, are you listening?
