Wednesday’s nerve ablation was smooth! I’m just finding the older I get, the longer the anesthesia recovery is for me. In the post-op notes they state there may be some insomnia. “SOME?” Could not fall asleep Wednesday night till midnight, then up every 90 minutes thinking I’d slept the night away. Finally, I fell asleep around 430AM ET, the alarm to wake up goes off at 6AM. I get up and get some honey-do things done around the homestead and at 815AM…BAM! Sleep wants to take over. I go back to bed and sleep until 1045 AM. Some laundry in the washer, some breakfast, morning meds, a shower…and I want to sleep again. Slept on and off Thursday, too, until I felt “normal”. This is why this podcast is recorded so late in the week!
