Yesterday, I was writing on certain “pet peeves”...this wasn’t one until later yesterday afternoon. Had to drive to Walmart to get food for dinner. While driving I was noticing people driving with their masks and face shields on. Why. Are. You. Driving. In. YOUR. Car. With. A. Mask. AND. Face. Shield. ON? IS YOUR CAR INFECTED? At a stoplight, pulled up next to me was “that” lady, the lady wearing all the gear looked over at me and motioned to me to put my mask on! My windows are up, my AC is on, and this lovely, caring person wants me to mask up in my own car! Why? I lifted my mask up to show her I had one, and she again motioned for m to put it on. I shook my head no to her, and she did the index finger slide down the other index finger to me...I could hear her in my head going “tsk, tsk, tsk!” I also then saw she was wearing gloves in her own car. I understand the safety thing. I wear the mask where I have to, BUT do NOT feel you have to be the boss of me while I’m in my car. Thanks for caring, but, I’ll take care of me, you take care of you. All I could think was, “Where’s your hazmat suit and Lysol backpack fogger?” Is it me?
